Anyone but higher risk if you Have high cholesterol, high blood pressure, or diabetes. Smoking Are overweight Lack regular physical activity. Don’t maintain a healthy diet.

8 + Tips to Take Care of Your Heart
Tip 1: Eat a healthy diet Fruits, vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy, poultry, fish, and nuts.  And limit consumption of red meat and sugary foods and drinks

Tip 2: Stay physically active 30-60 minutes of heart-pumping activity most days of the week Like brisk walking, bicycling, and swimming.

Tip 3: Manage stress Stress can significantly impact your heart health Practice relaxation techniques like meditation, deep breathing exercises, or yoga.

Tip 4: Control your cholesterol and blood pressure You are more likely to develop heart disease if you have: Total cholesterol level over 200 HDL (“good cholesterol”) under 40 LDL (“bad cholesterol”) over 160 Triglycerides over 150.

Tip 5: Good sleep Aim for 7 to 9 hours of quality sleep each night.

Tip 6: Maintain a healthy weight BMI of 25 or higher is considered overweight. The risk of heart disease is higher if the waist measurement exceeds 40 inches for men 35 inches for women.
