Interesting News: ChatGPT Helps Diagnose Child’s Chronic Pain After 17 Doctors Failed

This is a story about a mother whose child has been facing mysterious health issues for a long time, including pain and difficulty walking. They’ve been through a lot of medical visits, seeing 17 different doctors over three years, including dentists, pediatricians, neurologists, and ENT specialists.

Care taker says, I have to give him Motrin (Ibuprofen) every day – This is a painkiller, and while it’s generally safe for adults, it should be used with caution. There’s a liquid version available for kids aged 2 to 11.

Use of ChatGPT: The most interesting part of this story is how the mother used ChatGPT to help. She carefully examined the notes from her child’s MRI, and with the help of ChatGPT, discovered something called “tethered cord syndrome.” This condition is a complication of a birth defect called “spina bifida.”

Spina Bifida: Spina bifida is a birth defect that happens when the spine and spinal cord don’t develop properly. It’s usually detected shortly after birth or even before birth, and in some cases, surgery can be done while the baby is still in the mother’s womb.

So, what can we learn from this story? It’s essential to use AI or ChatGPT wisely, but it’s not perfect and should be used alongside medical advice. If you’d like to read the full story, you can find it here. Remember, when it comes to your health, always consult with medical professionals.
